Description
Here’s the dare: make a screen that’s barely a screen. Stand back, squint—see how little is left to hold the shape? Negative space is eating my lunch. Everything’s out for itself: sticker burst here, coupon window there, receipt ribbon twisting like it’s trying to sneak out. I started with the holes, not the panels. Reverse logic, anti-foundation. I wanted the sun to slip through, split up the surface, make it perform its own disappearance. Childhood—sure, the ghost of a Gas+ window cling is in here somewhere, but I’m not selling memory, just the offcut. Serenity? No. It’s a supermarket riot, all teeth and glint, ready to collapse the moment you touch it. Hinges groan—love that. A collapsing market, maybe; a spill index for how much you can lose and still call it yours. The mechanics of display: always risking a fold, a reveal, a breach. Value is what’s left when the panel’s mostly gone. Buy in, if you dare.
